FBs RIGHT SIDE EXPANSION MODULES
The expansion of FBS-PLC I/O consists of Digital I/O ( DI/O, which status is represented by a single bit) and the Analog I/O (AI/O , which status is represented by a 16-bit Word). Either the DI/O or the AI/O expansion is realized through expansion units or modules cascaded thru the usage of the “I/O Output Expansion Connector” located at the right side of FBS-PLC or expansion unit/ module. The I/O points of FBS-PLC system are limited to 512 points of DI/O (256 points for DI and DO, respectively), 128 points of AI/O (64 points for AI and AO, respectively). Combined with various special interface modules, it can directly connect with devices such as Thermocouple, RTD, 7-segment LED display, Thumbwheel switch, Load Cell and many more. Besides this there are two limits imposed by hardware:
- A maximum number of 32 units or modules can be used in the expansion.
- The total length of the expansion cables cannotexceed 5 meters.
Besides 204 models of main unit can be chosen, FBs-PLC also provides 72 models of expansion I/O and peripherals for selection. The expansion I/O modules include basic DI/O and AI/O, 7/16-segment LED display module, 8 types(J,K,R,S,E,T,B,N) thermocouple, Pt100, Pt1000 RTD temperature measurement module.
